Random acts of kindness abound at Saint Hilary School. During this busy pre-auction season, we pause to acknowledge the miscellaneous generosity that happens spontaneously among our families, and all year long. This time, our thanks go to Dyer and Rob Edington, parents of Marley (Grade 4) and Quinn (preK), and Joyce Raffo Meringolo, mum of Nicolas (Grade 3) and Luke (preK).
While school was out for the Christmas holidays, these families coordinated the improvements to our new and vastly improved front hall bathrooms. (No more need to direct our guests to the Parish Hall, Ms. T!)
In November, Dyer surprised Mr. Clement with her kind offer to spearhead the renovation of both facilities. With the expert help of Joyce Raffo (a self-proclaimed serial renovator) to order all materials, Dyer coordinated crews to begin work the first day of the winter break. Two weeks later (with custom paint dry, new lighting, fixtures and tiles installed, and grout doubly-sealed) Dyer, Rob, and Joyce shut the door on their holiday project. What a wonderful welcome back for all of us.
